Governor Koster said, together with Pangdam IX/Udayana, the Bali Police Chief, and Regents/Mayors throughout Bali, they have worked hard to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic so that it gets better. This is done to restore public confidence in Bali as a world tourist destination. "Therefore, we are focusing on handling this so that we can quickly resolve it," he said.

Furthermore, Koster added, there will be programs that are in direct contact with the urgent needs of the community to be resolved. Later, we will synergize this program with the Bali Provincial Government and also all districts/cities in Bali.

Meanwhile, the Commander of the Regional Military Command (Kodam) IX / Udayana Major General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak said that the handling of Covid-19 in Buleleng was considered very good. It could even be an example not only in Bali but also in other places in dealing with Covid-19.

Regarding the program presented by Governor Koster, he said, we will try to promote the agricultural sector so that the Balinese people in the future can facilitate their own food needs. "I see that there are quite a lot of opportunities here and we have been working on this gradually," said the Regional Commander.

In addition, he invited all levels of society to always remember the dangers of Covid-19. Because in overcoming Covid-19 if we are not united we will continue like this. "There should be no one who doesn't understand covid, if there is someone who doesn't understand covid it will be very dangerous for the whole community. That's why we continue to invite the community to deal with Covid-19 as well as possible," he said.

President Joko Widodo conveyed several important things that needed attention in a limited meeting regarding the evaluation of the implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) with his staff through a video conference at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday, September 6, 2021.

First, the President asked his staff to build good communication with the public regarding the Covid-19 pandemic to avoid excessive euphoria. He stressed that this virus can be controlled, but it is not possible to completely disappear.

“The public must be aware that Covid is always peeking. The delta variant is always peeking at us. If you are caught off guard, you can go up again," said the President.

In addition, the Head of State also saw that the daily cases of Covid-19 for the past three days had decreased. Not only daily cases, but the national bed occupancy rate (BOR) has also fallen to 20 percent.

However, the President asked his staff to continue to carry out a thorough evaluation of the development of Covid-19 cases in the regions. This is important so that Covid-19 cases can be handled immediately and the spread of cases can be suppressed.

"This is if we continue to do our work consistently, I believe God willing, by the end of September we will be below 100 thousand (cases)," he continued.

Meanwhile, regarding the new variant, the Mu variant, the President appealed to the relevant ministers, especially the Minister of Transportation, to pay close attention to the variants and continue to be vigilant about these variants.
