PPKM Down to Level 3, PTM Await Buleleng Regent's Decision

The commitment of the Buleleng Regency Government (Pemkab) in handling the development of the Covid-19 case in Buleleng finally paid off. In accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 42 of 2021, the PPKM level in the Buleleng Regency has decreased to level 3. This was stated by the Coordinator for the Data and Information Sector of the Buleleng Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Ketut Suwarmawan, S.STP., MM in his office, Tuesday. , (14/9).

Due to the reduction in the PPKM level, there is a great chance that face-to-face learning (PTM) can be implemented in Buleleng, but it is still limited. "According to information from the Buleleng Education, Youth and Sports Office, the readiness of PTM facilities and infrastructure has been carried out, but PTM activities are limited to a maximum of 50 percent. This PTM is still waiting for the decision of the Buleleng Regent,” explained Suwarmawan.

Furthermore, it was explained, various preparations that must be carried out by educational units in PTM for PAUD, SD, and SMP in Buleleng, among others; students must obtain permission from their parents, PAUD education units are a maximum of 33%, elementary and junior high schools are a maximum of 50%, and must maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 meters. "From the provisions of the PTM later, the SD education unit has a maximum of 14 students per class and SMP is also set to a maximum of 16 people per class," explained Suwarmawan, who is also the Head of Kominfosanti District of Buleleng Regency.

Kadis Suwarmawan added that education staff who have not vaccinated against Covid-19 are not allowed to do PTM, but only distance learning from home or online. "If a confirmed case of Covid-19 is found in the implementation of the PTM, the activity will be temporarily suspended for a minimum period of three times 24 hours," he said.

Meanwhile, related to the development of the handling of Covid-19 cases in Buleleng, today there are 13 patients who have been declared cured and have been discharged. Kadis Suwarmawan explained that the number of recovered patients was still dominated by 5 people from Buleleng Subdistrict, the rest from Seririt Subdistrict 4 people and 1 person each from Banjar, Busungbiu, Kubuaddan, and Sawan Subdistricts.

Meanwhile, 26 new confirmed cases were recorded and the largest distribution still came from Buleleng District. The development of the handling of patients today also recorded that 4 people were declared dead. Related to that, the number of patients who are still undergoing treatment is 148 people.

"Based on today's developments in handling Covid-19, we again invite the public to always be disciplined in implementing health protocols. Don't be careless, because the confirmation case has been sloping,” concluded the Head of the Sub-District Office, Suwarmawan.

Deputy Regent Sutjdira Officially Releases 20 Athletes from Bali Contingent from Buleleng to XX Papua PON 2021

Deputy Regent of Buleleng Nyoman Sutjidra officially released 20 athletes and 4 coaches from Buleleng Regency who will participate in the XX National Sports Week 2021 in Papua. The release activity which was also filled with giving motivational money to athletes and coaches took place at the Atiti Wisma Lobby of the Buleleng Regent's Office on Tuesday (14/9).

The 20 athletes who were released consisted of Diving, Athletics, Rock Climbing, Rugby, Shooting, Aero Sports Federation, and Field Tennis. In addition, 4 coaches were also sent, namely 1 Takraw coach, tennis coach, archery coach, and Taekwondo coach each.

Deputy Regent Sutjidra together with the Chairman of the DPRD Kab. Buleleng Gede Supriatna and Regional Secretary Gede Suyasa on that occasion encouraged the athletes and symbolically handed over motivational money.

Through his remarks, Deputy Regent Sutjidra encouraged the ranks of athletes and coaches who would go to Papua, he hoped they could give their best performance in order to make the name of the region both Bali and Buleleng proud.

In order to provide appropriate rewards for athletes, Sutjidra will strive to continue to provide bonuses that will be given to athletes who won medals, this will be pursued even in the midst of budget constraints due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Right now it's a pandemic, but we will try not to reduce this athlete bonus," said Sutjidra.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the KONI of Buleleng Regency, Nyoman Artha Widnyana, in his report, said that at the XX Papua 2021 PON contingent, the Bali contingent is targeting to increase its ranking nationally from the achievement of the last PON, namely Bali Province being ranked 6th out of 26 participating provinces by obtaining 20 Gold Medals, 21 Medals. Silver and 35 Bronze Medals.

For this XX PON in Papua, the Bali Province Contingent participated in 28 sports out of 37 contested sports, with the target of ranking in the top 5 of the 34 participating provinces, with 30 gold medals.
