KPK Extends Detention Period
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has extended the detention period for 22 suspects in the alleged bribery case related to the sale and purchase of positions within the Probolinggo Regency Government, East Java.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated two luxury bicycles related to the bribery case of buying and selling village head positions in the Probolinggo Regency.
In this case, the KPK named 22 people as suspected bribe recipients and givers.
Two of them are the Regent of Probolinggo Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband Hasan Aminuddin, who is Deputy Chair of Commission IV of the DPR from the Nasdem Party faction.

This carbon bike is an imported bicycle manufactured by Trek Bicycle Corporation from the US.

8 Obligors Called BLBI Task Force
Indonesian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Singapore Suryopratomo said that the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore was asked to forward summons to 8 (eight) addresses of each obligor since three weeks ago or the end of August 2021 .

Previously, the BLBI Task Force had indeed intensively summoned obligors in various regions. They were asked to come to the Ministry of Finance to settle the debt on the state fund bill from the BLBI case.
Some of them have fulfilled the BLBI call. For example, on Friday (17/9) yesterday, six obligor representatives came to the ministry to follow up on the summons. First, Nirwan Dermawan Bakrie and Indra Usmansyah Bakrie were represented by Sri Hascaryo as attorneys. The two members of the Bakrie family were summoned for having a debt of Rp22.67 billion.
Second, Thee Ning Khong was represented by his son for a debt obligation of IDR 90.66 billion. Third, The Kwen Le who owes Rp. 63.23 billion. Fourth, the debtor's representative on behalf of PT Jakarta Kyoei Steel Works Ltd Tbk with a debt of Rp86.34 billion.
Fifth, the debtor on behalf of PT Jakarta Steel Megah Utama with a debt of Rp69.08 billion. Sixth, the debtor on behalf of PT Jakarta Steel Perdana Industry with a debt of Rp69.33 billion.
