Wuling Shows Readiness of Electric Car Production in RI
- Wuling, an automotive manufacturer from China, is ready to release an electric car to stimulate the Indonesian car market. In addition to selling electric cars, the company will prepare a supply chain to anticipate due to high demand.
Previously, Wuling was rumored to be starting to produce electric cars in Indonesia at the end of 2022. China Daily reported, the company will launch a global strategy of selling electric cars with the Global Small Electric Vehicle (GSEV) platform outside of China. Wuling's commitment to selling electric cars in the country was proven when the visit of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, the Minister of Transportation, Ir. Budi Karya Sumadi, and Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin to the Wuling Motors (Wuling) factory in Cikarang, West Java, today Thursday (30/9).
President Director of Wuling Motors, Shi Guoyong, who accompanied representatives of the Indonesian government, said that his party had built a long-term passenger car production facility in the country.
"The realization of Wuling's investment in Indonesia begins with the construction of production facilities and supplier parks with global quality standards," said Shi Guoyong in an official statement.
Shi Guoyong explained the plans for the development of Wuling electric vehicles which are currently marketed in China, starting from the E100, E200, E300, to Mini EVs which are sold from Rp. 64.1 million to Rp. 86.4 million in China. These cars are quite adapted to the conditions of Indonesia, namely the right steering wheel.
He hopes that the Indonesian government will support the investment plan and the growth of electric vehicles.
"We are serious about bringing technology and also investing in entering the era of vehicle electrification. Of course, Wuling also needs support from the government to jointly develop the EV (electric vehicle) ecosystem in Indonesia," said Shi Guoyong.
So far, several global automotive companies have committed to producing hybrid and electric vehicles in Indonesia, ranging from Honda, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, and Toyota. Hyundai is ready to produce electric cars in 2022 and Toyota is ready to produce hybrid cars in the same year.
Booking Fee of IDR 10 Million, for Ordering the Latest Generation of Toyota Avanza.
Starting from the Motor Vehicle Sales Value (NJKB) the new generation Toyota Avanza has been listed in the attachment of Permendagri No. 40 for the year 2021.
justify;">At the latest, several Toyota dealers have opened orders for this Avanza model change!
Information circulating, this latest Avanza will use the DN Multisix concept car base.
For the variants, this latest model Avanza will carry 1,300 ccs and 1,500 cc engines with a choice of manual and CVT transmissions. 40 of 2021, it is written that nine variants are ranging from 1.3 EM/T to 1.5 Q CVT TSS.
But in the attachment, the model names still use the code W100RE and W101RE which have NJKB starting from Rp. 157 million to Rp. 227 million.
Even so, PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) still does not want to open its voice regarding the candidate for Toyota's new car in Indonesia.
However, from observations at one of the official Toyota dealers, the new generation Avanza can already be ordered by consumers before launch.
"We have opened the new Avanza model queue for orders," said one of the sales clerks at the Toyota dealer in the Jakarta area when contacted, (28/9/21).
Even though PT Toyota Astra Motor keeps the meeting, there is a piece of interesting information about the existence of his Low MPV.
Later it is reported that there will be 2 variants that will be launched, namely the 1,300 cc and 1,500 cc engines
For the 1300 engine, there are 2 types, namely manual and automatic.
As for the 1500 engine, there are 7 types with the highest type being Q CVT TSS.
Information about the NJKB of the new Toyota Avanza can be found on the government's website.
From this sale value, we can calculate the on-road price of the Toyota Avanza, which will soon be launched. The Transfer Fee for Motor Vehicles (BBNKB) for new vehicles for the Jakarta area is 12.5% of the NJKB.
The second is for the first vehicle, PKB aka Motor Vehicle Tax, which is 2 percent of the DP PKB or the Basic Imposition of PKB.
DPP for cars is NJKB X weight with a value of 1.05.
Next is VAT which is 10 percent.
"For PPnBM, it has been imposed or included in the NJKB. So when APM hands over the car to the dealer, the price includes luxury tax," said the source again.
In addition to tax items, there are other fees charged by dealers to consumers. Dealer fees include distribution. The range is around 10-12 percent. Here are the estimates for the 1,300 cc and 1,500 engine types
For Toyota Avanza E MT 1.300
NJKB = IDR 157 million.
BBNKB = Rp. 157 million X 12.5 percent = Rp. 19.625 million.
PKB = 2 percent X IDR 157 million X 1.05 = IDR 3.297 million.
VAT = 10 percent X IDR 157 million = IDR 15.7 million.
Assuming a dealer fee of 10 percent,
10% X IDR 157 million which is IDR 15.7 million.
Then the estimated price on the road for that type is
IDR 157 million + IDR 19.625 million + IDR 15.7 million + IDR 3.297 million + IDR 15.7 million = IDR 211.3 million
Estimated Price of the New Toyota Avanza
Avanza E MT IDR 211.3 million
Avanza E CVT Rp 226.1 million
Avanza G MT Rp 231.5 million
Avanza G CVT Rp 247.25 million
Avanza G CVT TSS Rp 268.3 million
Avanza S MT Rp 262.46 million
Avanza S CVT Rp 278.66 million
Avanza Q CVT IDR 285.35 million
Avanza Q CVT TSS Rp 305.5 million
