 Conglomerate Sinar Mas, Turnover Reaches Trillions of Rupiah,


The property company belonging to the conglomerate Sinar Mas Group, namely PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS) scored a positive performance in the third quarter of this year. The industrial and residential land manager of Kota Deltamas scored an increase in net profit of up to 109.83% from IDR 302.45 billion as of September 2020 to IDR 634.64 billion as of September 2021.

The net profit achievement is in line with Deltamas' income which has grown rapidly to reach trillions of rupiah. On an annual basis, Deltamas' revenue rose 99.58% from Rp654.99 billion in the third quarter of 2020 to Rp1.31 trillion in the third quarter of 2021. Sales of industrial land contributed the most to Deltamas' revenue, where its value grew from Rp537.76 billion in Q320 to Rp1.14 trillion in Q321.

The value of income from housing sales also increased, which was initially Rp36.01 billion to Rp110.25 billion. However, commercial sales decreased from IDR 64.87 billion as of September 2020 to IDR 39.54 billion as of September 2021. Hotel business revenue also experienced a correction from IDR 9.79 billion to IDR 8.25 billion. Likewise, rental income was cut from Rp6.56 billion to Rp5.77 billion.

Revenue grew, the surge in operating expenses could be restrained so that it only increased from Rp. 141.91 billion in September 2020 to Rp. 146.25 billion in September 2021. In addition, Deltamas' net profit performance could grow to double, also influenced by the reversal of equity in joint venture losses. of Rp4.57 billion to a profit of Rp3.99 billion. Deltamas' total assets have decreased from Rp6.75 trillion as of December 2020 to Rp6.50 trillion as of September 2021.


The development company owned by the Sinar Mas Group, namely PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (Deltamas) pocketed marketing sales of Rp. 288 billion during the first quarter of 2021.


This value is equivalent to 11.4% of Deltamas' marketing sales target this year which reached Rp2 trillion.

Director of Deltamas, Tondy Suwanto, revealed that most of the marketing-sales were obtained from the sale of an industrial land area of ​​10.4 hectares. The sector that dominates the sale of industrial land is the data center sector. "The joining of new data center customers at the beginning of this year also adds to the presence of data center players in the Deltamas industrial area who started joining last year," he concluded in writing, Friday, April 9, 2021.

He added that throughout 2020, Deltamas had sold around 20 hectares of industrial land to data center customers. Tondy is optimistic that Deltamas will be able to achieve the marketing sales target of IDR 2 trillion by the end of next year.

"There are still around 75 hectares of industrial land demand, both from the data center sector, automotive, and other sectors. We will strive to achieve the best results," he continued.

In addition to the sale of industrial land, Tondy said that Deltamas also focuses on developing residential and commercial areas, one of which is the Naraya Park cluster housing. In addition, commercial customers are also considered to be soon building supporting facilities in Kota Deltamas, such as shopping centers and health facilities. Director of Deltamas, Tondy Suwanto, revealed that the company is aiming for marketing sales of Rp. 2 trillion. As for the realization, Deltamas managed to get a value 19% higher than that, which reached Rp2.39 trillion throughout 2020. Sales of industrial land are still the most dominating, said Tondy. Demand for industrial land in our industrial area GIIC has been quite high since the beginning of 2020 and Deltamas are trying to maximize these opportunities even in the midst of a pandemic situation," he concluded on Monday, January 25. He added that the marketing sales target had even been set since the beginning of the year without any revision. He said Deltamas collected sales of 119.5 hectares of industrial land. These are purchased by various industrial sectors, ranging from automotive, food, warehousing, to the data center sector.

"Going forward, we expect industrial demand from the automotive sector and its derivatives as well as data centers to remain strong in line with the latest developments, including the growth of the digital industry," he said.

He again added Deltamas is optimistic that the activity and working population in Kota Deltamas will continue to increase in the next few years. This, explained Tondy, will also increase the value of the Kota Deltamas area. We will also continue to develop residential and commercial areas in Kota Deltamas to provide the best facilities for workers, residents, and visitors to the Kota Deltamas area," he concluded.
