Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport Opens for Foreign Tourists October 14th

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut B Panjaitan revealed that international flights are open as long as they meet the applicable terms and conditions.
"Bali Ngurah Rai Airport will be opened internationally on September 14," Luhut said in a virtual press conference, Monday (4/10).
"Every international arrival passenger must have proof of hotel booking for a minimum 8-day quarantine at their own expense," Luhut added.
He added that some of the countries that were opened were South Korea, China, Japan, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and New Zealand. As is known, the government has again extended the application of leveling Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) to deal with the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. in several areas of Java-Bali starting tomorrow October 5 to October 18.
"In implementing the PPKM level for the next two weeks, there are still 20 regencies/cities that remain at level 2, which is dominated by Semarang Raya and Solo Raya, Solo Raya is now entering Level 2," said Luhut.
Luhut said the agglomeration areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (Jabodetabek) still remained at level 3. Luhut said that vaccination achievements in Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi districts were still low.
In addition, the Greater Bandung, Malang Raya, and Greater Surabaya areas also still have PPKM Level 3. According to him, vaccination achievements affect the handling in these areas.
