Canelo Alvarez proved himself to be a true Champion after defeating IBF Super Intermediate Champion Caleb Plant by TKO in round 11 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Las Vegas, Nevada United States (USA)
In the first round, Caleb Plant immediately threw jabs at Canelo Alvarez, to which he replied with a left hook put his opponent in a corner. In the second round, Plant got off to a good start with clean jabs. But it didn't last long, Canelo landed a left hook. Buying and selling attacks continue to occur.
Body shots, left hooks made Canelo seem dominant even though Plant also jabs as a form of defense.
In the third round, Plant continued to attack first, with Saul Alvarez preferring to be patient while looking for an opening, and throwing a left hook into the opponent's chest.
Having received a jab, Canelo also launched a very strong left hook by cornering his opponent to the edge.
In the fourth round, Plant's uppercut continued to hit Canelo. Trying to reverse the lead by launching various raw bombardments in fact did not make Canelo lose his momentum, because he still dominated in this round.
In the fifth round, the Plant started to heat up. But he couldn't find a weak spot to knock down Canelo, who returned the ball with a powerful body shot that slowed Plant's movement.

In the 10th round, Canelo Alvarez seemed to be blind, his attacks continued to be in the form of accurate jabs and hooks that kept Plant cornered in the ring.
In the 11th round, Canelo Alvarez went crazy. His uppercut nearly toppled Plant but was still able to bounce back. Not wanting to lose a golden opportunity, Canelo again threw a deadly combo of left hook and uppercut which finally made Plant fall. Canelo Alvarez was declared the winner after making Caleb Plant's TKO in the 11th round. This result also made him officially the undisputed boxing champion.
This means, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is able to become the king of boxing in the middleweight after winning the WBA, WBC, WBO, The Ring, and IBF titles after winning over Caleb Plant.

Canelo Alvarez himself has had an impressive record since returning to the super middleweight division in December 2020, where he defeated Callum Smith and claimed the WBA title, and won the vacant WBC belt.
His career continued to climb after defeating Avni Yildirim in February 2021 and stopping Billy Joe Saunders by breaking his eye socket in May, making him successful in winning the WBA, WBC, and WBO title belts. Feeling not satisfied, the 31-year-old boxer also tried to change his status to the undisputed super middleweight champion, aiming for the IBF title which currently belongs to Caleb Plant. In the future, the race for the super middleweight title will take place in 12 rounds, where the duel between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs Caleb Plant is predicted to be interesting. the two also had clashed at the first press conference.
