The perpetrator was deemed negligent, causing the victim to suffer injuries. The police charged the perpetrator with Article 360 of the Criminal Code with a minimum threat of one year and a maximum of five years.
Badung Police Chief AKBP Leo Dedy Defretes said the determination of the suspect and the application of Article 360 were following the results of the deepening of the statements of several witnesses and the construction of the case.
Article 360 of the Criminal Code reads as follows: (1) Whoever because of his negligence causes a person to be seriously injured is sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of five years or maximum imprisonment of one year.
The victim previously reported the perpetrator with Article 351 regarding the criminal act of persecution.
Article 351 among other things reads:
(1) Persecution is punishable by a maximum imprisonment of two years and eight months or a maximum fine of Rp. 4,500.

(2) If the act causes serious injury, the guilty person is sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of five years.
"We have determined the shooter who used an air rifle as a suspect. Initially, it was reported (Article) 351 but after we conducted an in-depth examination (of) the witnesses, it was subject to Article 360," said Leo when contacted, Thursday (18/9). ).
In this case, the police decided not to arrest the suspect Abby. The consideration is a criminal penalty of under five years.

Dedy Defretes said investigators were looking for the address of the owner of the Mitsubishi Jeep LM B 66 FRD vehicle used by the perpetrators to falsify the license plate number of his Lexus vehicle. The police plan to summon the owner of the vehicle to investigate the alleged forgery by the perpetrator.

"If the plate is fake, we are contacting the owner of the plate in Jakarta and then we will take the information. We are still looking for the address if I'm not mistaken in Bekasi.
